iTag Track uses ultra-wideband technology and takes advantage of Apple’s existing network of devices, which work as crowdsourced beacons to ping each other in order to determine your missing item’s location. Here’s what to know before you slap an iTag Track on everything you own.
Compatible iPhones and iPads can use the ‘Find My’ app to identify the approximate location of an iTag Track. However, in order to track an iTag Track, you must be running iOS 14.5 iOS 14.5 or above on your iPhone or iPad OS 14.5+ on your tablet. (That update is compatible with iPhone 6s and up, including the first- and second-gen iPhone SE, and most ipads.

How to add your iTag Track to your Apple account ……
Step 1：Turn on the device
Press and hold the button for 5 seconds, the device will beep and turn on.
Step 2：Open the ‘Find My’ app
Select : Items — Add Other Item;
Step 3：Connect the device
During the Searching Items process, the tag name will pop up and simply click on “Connect” to establish a connection. Click on the device found in the APP, name it and choose an emoji icon. Agree to connect the tag to your Apple account.
Step 4：Play sound
After naming, you can use device functions: Ring the device, click Play Sound, and the device will emit music.

How to Find Your iTag Track When Attached to Items?
Finding the iTag Track is relatively simple. All you have to do is open ” Find My App” on your apple device to immediately locate the tracker. If you are nearby and still can’t find your tracker, it’s possible to play a sound on it from your phone. If you use an iPhone 11 or 12, you can simplify your search with Precision Finding. This mode will give you exact details (distance and direction) on the location of your object and give you on-screen guides till you find it.
If you still can’t find the iTag Track, the next best option is to use Lost Mode in “Find My App”. This mode will help you create a custom message that is to be displayed when the iTag Track is found by another user. When they take their phone close to the iTag Track, your unique message containing personal contact details will appear on their screen and hopefully, they reach out to you with the lost item and iTag Track.
